Cloudfm

Website Redesign

Cloudfm is a leading provider of facilities management services, including risk management, technical consultancy and technical solutions.

In 2019, Cloudfm partnered with JBi to create a tailored strategy, evolve Cloudfm’s online brand and build an all-new, industry-leading website.

The Brief

As one of the fastest growing facilities management companies in the UK, Cloudfm’s leadership wanted to reflect this success with an industry-leading website.

Cloudfm’s previous website was over half a decade old and was not reflective of the cutting edge facilities management services that the company provides.

The new website would need to reflect Cloudfm’s brand values with strong visuals and a clear message of innovation, expertise and appetite for a challenge, while setting the company apart from its competitors.

Discovery Phase

This project was centred around a collaborative Discovery phase which engaged Cloudfm’s key stakeholders in a series of workshops designed to build a strong, shared understanding of the company’s digital objectives and requirements.

JBi’s team of experts worked closely with the Cloudfm team to explore various design directions, define Cloudfm’s brand messaging and create a clear project plan.

The results of the Discovery phase informed the conceptualisation and design phases and ensured that all stakeholders were aligned on the key decisions behind the project.

Modular Design

The Discovery phase highlighted the need for Cloudfm’s website to be easily customisable and scalable for future growth, which led the design and development teams to take a modular approach.

By doing so, we were able to deliver a versatile website on WordPress, Cloudfm’s chosen CMS, giving admins the ability to manage the website’s content and appearance wherever necessary without losing visual consistency.

If you would like to find out more about why we love module design, you can read this blog on the topic by our Design Manager, Sam Izzet.

3D Interactive Model

The JBi team suggested a variety of aesthetic directions which could be taken to deliver on Cloudfm’s brief. This began a period of collaboration, during which both teams assessed a number of different options as part of our partnership approach.

The key was to find a way to marry Cloudfm’s brand messaging with the website’s visuals based on the outputs of the Discovery phase.

After a period of brainstorming, benchmarking and collaboration, there was a strong consensus that an interactive 3D model would achieve just that.

Results and Testimonial

The Cloudfm team is delighted with the results of this project, which delivered a dynamic and user-focused online home for the company that is reflective of its positioning and messaging.

The new website has seen a marked increase in traffic, with a 50% increase in users and a 28% increase in sessions since the site went live at the start of this year.

“The team at JBi Digital have been an absolute joy to work with. Their partnership approach suits us perfectly and we have an excellent working relationship based on strong communication, high quality project management and innovative digital design. We love our new website!”

Holly Smart, Marketing Manager at Cloudfm
