Rice Search Partners

Financial Services

When Rice Search Partners (we just call them Rice now) came to us for a new website, we knew they were a good fit. Not looking for a run of the mill website, Rice were determined that their site would stand out from the crowd and act as a real brand endorsement.

The Brief

With a robust CMS, supporting cutting edge design and web technologies, we think that the end product achieves the clean, professional, yet subtle look and feel that Rice required.

Design

Time to take those oh so boring wireframes and build a brand. Like Noah to the Ark this is where the planning starts to pay dividends. No biblical floods here though, unless you think a tsunami of creative juices counts? We created a PSD mockup for each important page and made sure the guys over at Rice LOVED every single visual aspect of the work. This meant carefully and intricately playing with the brand colours, design elements and all the little details that some would deem superfluous. Afterall, with web design, the devil well and truly is in the detail! All that hard work paid off and we ended up with a fun, quirky and super modern set of interfaces that Rice just couldn’t wait to show off.

Planning

The design of the Rice website was a challenge as it was important that this was no run of the mill web design! Parallax scrolling and a bold, one page design meant we had to plan each and every element to perfection. This was not just about understanding the website, but getting to know Rice as a business. The UX & design team love getting together to dream up the best hierarchies for conversions and all evidence points towards another successful collaboration!

Development

Let’s bring those designs to life! Its all very well loving the designs but in the development stage that’s where we insert a little soul and personality to the website. Bespoke customisation was the word of the day as we got cracking with the Rice website. From Parallax to animation, the Rice site kept us on our toes all the way through to completion. From the start, we had designed the Rice site to be fully responsive. This means that the website is equally usable on Mobile devices as well as Laptops and Desktop Computers. In this way we created a site that gave Rice the brand credibility that they were looking for.

Final set up

After thorough testing of the site’s functionalities and UX on all responsive platforms, we handed the Rice Website over to its proud new owners, with training sessions included! We have since been discussing further works to improve their digital offering so we guess we did something right!
