Women’s Footwear

When Propia Scarpa approached JBi with their vision to establish their high-end footwear brand online, we knew this meant two things. Our designers would have the opportunity to really get in touch with their feminine side and of course the shoe obsessives in the office would be in true shoe heaven.

The Brief

The brief, short and sweet –  create a stunning interface for visitors to enjoy a fabulous user journey and of course gently nudge them to nab those pair of shoes. Simples!

Objectives

  • Design a visually stunning interface for exceptional user journey
  • Build a strong and scalable E-commerce platform to manage existing and new collections
  • Create a website to champion the online brand as a leader of high end fashion footwear
  • Introduce an inbuilt monitoring system to track orders and monitor sales
  • Integrate E-commerce 360 from MailChimp to monitor analytical data and user behaviour analysis
  • Track lost visitors via an Abandoned Cart system to boost conversion rates
  • Introduce third party integrations for users to enjoy a seamless journey through to checkout

Planning

Before building their site, we got to know Propia Scarpa as a brand face to face, noting all details from their product ranges to why you can never go wrong with a tan colour shoe. We then sat down with the team to get down to the nitty gritty. We feel a website should be the shop window to a brand, so it comes as no surprise that we wanted to pack Propia Scarpa with those sweet features to get users oohing and aahhing.

Design

We knew that creating a bold yet inviting interface was the sure fire way to go. We wanted to really show each product in all its glory so that meant minimal colour, simple font and stunning imagery. With all agreed, we got to work on bringing the wireframes to life. Now with the look sorted, we started on the plans for the build; with the cogs in motion, it was only a matter of time before we’d unveil Propia Scarpa!

The Build

So from a ‘Must Haves’ automatic slider at the bottom of the home page to clever zoom-ins on the product detail page, the website had transformed into a simple beauty. None of this would have been possible had it not been for the high level of customisation and integration that had gone into the Magento build which altogether facilitates for high-end user experience.

Shoe Stardom!

What can we say, Propia Scarpa’s website is a stunner, even if we say so ourselves. Its simplicity offers the user a clear path to conversion, it’s nifty features adds value and finally, it acts as the perfect platform (no pun intended) to showcase Propia Scarpa’s fabulous range. With increasing authority online be it on social or via organic traffic, we have no doubt that Propia Scarpa is set for shoe stardom!
