Bio Sculpture Gel

Bio Sculpture was founded and created in South Africa by Elmien Scholtz. Elmien realised the need for a nail care product that was healthy, strong, beautiful and long lasting; so, she began extensive research and development utilising her own salon in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

In 1988 Bio Sculpture Clear Gel was registered as the world’s first soak-off gel, a nail hardening treatment that cured under a UV light with a crystal clear finish and has consistently led the market in innovation since its inception. The brand has expanded into over 30 countries and the demand for the product continues to grow.

The Brief

Bio Sculpture were looking to redevelop the existing website, while still keeping the same look and feel. They wanted a new CMS site that was not only clean and easy to navigate but that also depicted the well established Bio Sculpture brand. The site required an understanding of CMS, an understanding of the well established Bio brand and the understanding of the UK market — JBi met these requirements and more.

What we did

  • Banner management for easily updating images throughout the site
  • A full blown E-Commerce solution for both public and wholesale customers — separate store entities for each

  • “Find a Nearest Salon” – multi store location finder
  • QBio Sculpture Gel Online Training Courses
  • Newsletter Signup
  • Promo Popup
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Google Analytics code

JBi verdict

We are delighted with the outcome of the site and hope that it has given Bio Sculpture the tools they need to market their products and courses here in the UK.

We are thrilled to have built an amazing relationship with Richard and Rene at and look forward to working closely with them on any further projects or launches.
