BFP

The Bureau of Freelance Photography (BFP) was founded in 1965 to help freelance and aspiring freelance photographers to sell their pictures to editorial markets. Running and leading the commercial freelance photography market for nearly 50 years now, an exclusive membership with the BFP will provide you with all the necessary tools and materials to become a success commercially with such a hobby, by outlining the opportunities in the industry to sell your pictures for a substantial profit.

The Brief

A new, upgraded website was required for a number of reasons. Firstly, the 10 year old website was very outdated and did not reflect the modernisation of the industry as it should from an aesthetic perspective. Secondly, the BFP wanted to increase the number of members signing up to their services and the best solution to this was to allow customers to do so online.

What we did

  • An interactive sliding homepage banner
  • Featured products selected by the administrator
  • Blog integration
  • Quick contact form
  • Paypal Shopping cart function and checkout
  • Allowing international orders to be made via the payment gateway
  • Google Analytics integration for advanced user/visitor analysis and reporting

JBi verdict

We are extremely pleased with the end result and, after reviewing the Google Analytics data, we have immediately seen an increased conversion of online sales. By having an online payment system that allows users to purchase books, courses and the overall membership, BFP have and will receive more sales and exposure as the UK’s leading freelance photography consultancy.
