Securenvoy, the original inventors of tokenless authentication, showcased their latest technology at Jun 2018 the Infosecurity Trade Show last week with a little help from JBi Digital!
Securenvoy wanted to create a catchy animated video that could showcase all of the authentication methods that they offer. We wanted to show just how versatile their solutions are, whilst ensuring that their booth would stand out from the crowd at the trade show. After discussing the requirements for the animation with the client we worked together to create an impactful representation of Securenvoy’s product.
The most challenging part of an animated project is arguably the planning, especially when working to a tight deadline. Our experienced creative team worked hard to understand and quickly draft a vision for the short animation which reflected their brief. From here we created the animation storyboard. This is fundamental because it acts as the guideline for the final animation and ensures that all parties are working with the same vision in mind from start to finish. During this stage, we focused on the character’s key actions during each scene and transformed the text of the brief into a sequence of drawings.
After working the brief into a storyboard, our talented animators worked their magic and took their drawings to the next level, shaping them into a fully fledged, 3D character. To do this we combined multiple still renders and low-res clips. This allowed us to define and test the textures, effects, lighting, camera and movement of the animation. From here, we worked closely with Securenvoy to make sure that every aspect of the animation still reflected the brief and the look and feel of their new branding.
Both Securenvoy and JBi were really happy with the final animation. Through working collaboratively with the client and our design team, we made sure that the final video really reflected Securenvoy’s new branding whilst also showcasing their products. The animation was a really nice, personal touch for the booth at the Infosecurity Trade Show, which definitely set them apart from the crowd.
