Wedding Videography
Founded by two talented school friends, Chicane Films is a videography company specialising in capturing and telling the story of your wedding day. In order to showcase the pair’s stunning camera skills and lifelong passion for film, they needed a soft, modern and lovingly designed website, just like their videos – enter JBi!
The Brief
Chicane Films required a site which would really demonstrate their skills as leading edge filmmakers, combined with a simple user friendly site enabling customers to browse video packages and make enquiries – ultimately reducing the wedding day stress for couples, not creating it!

Planning
Planning is vital in any project, but particularly in this case due to the tight timeframe we were under. You’re probably thinking this led to an outbreak of panic and a lot of stress ball squeezing, right? Wrong. Thanks to Chicane’s clear vision and thorough descriptions, JBi were able to understand their business model and what they wanted from their website. This meant our talented web designers now had a clear brief on what was needed and were able to creatively design and build a site that would delight Chicane and inspire their customers.

Designing
Chicane were looking for a site that would allow their portfolio to take centreplace, so we designed the website using clean, soft background colours and simple text, creating space so the films would be the first point of user engagement. Needless to say, they loved the look and feel immediately.

Development
On revealing our designs, Chicane were pleased to see that we had created what they had imagined and so the development stage begun quickly. Everyone was excited to see the vision come to life! And come to life it did, in a mere matter of days, our talented team had transformed the static mockups into a dynamic website that the client simply loved.

Final Set Up
We’d done it – the Chicane Films website was complete and ready to go live. The filmmakers were excited in anticipation of what this new platform of communication would do for their company… We hope to check-in in a couple of months to learn their business is a boom with happy couples and newlyweds.
