AI Turns Your Self Portraits into Nightmares

Pix2Pix attempts to turn line-drawings into realistic human portraits. However, the realism depends on your ability and patience to draw in the small input box, our team’s results varied from funny to down right horrifying.

The project was created by Dutch Public Broadcaster NPO.  The artificial intelligence uses thousands of reference photos of Lara Rense to realise your badly-drawn line portraits.
