County Wedding Launched New Website Designed by JBi

CountyWedding, the online UK wedding services directory, has launched its new website. The upgraded and modernised site has improved the user experience making it simpler and easier to navigate, has added greater functionality and also now allows wedding vendors to have complete control of their advertising, using their secure control panel login via the website.

The CountyWedding online directory is used by couples planning a wedding and looking for the best local wedding services in their county. CountyWedding offers free entries and priority placement subscriptions to wedding vendors starting at the low cost of just £40 per annum.

County Wedding launched in the year 2000 as a wedding services directory to the Essex County as a result of the lack of wedding services found in his county by the Managing Director, Alan Vaufrouard when planning his own wedding. By 2005 the service was proving so successful that the CountyWedding’s site was getting around 60-70,000 clicks a month. It was only when Alan was contacted by other businesses outside of Essex requesting to advertise in his directory that the CountyWedding directory expanded across the UK.

CountyWedding decided earlier this year to modernise their website and approached London based full-service digital agency, JBi, to assist with the redesign and refresh of the site. “What we wanted was a modern, contemporary re-design and a website that automated many of the tasks currently being undertaken manually. JBi did a complete redesign and development of this new site but with other functionality added – it is now simple, clean, clear and automated Managing Director at CountyWedding.

Since the launch of CountyWedding’s new stylish website, business and visitors to the site have increased substantially. Visitors can view at their leisure the entire wedding directory and browse for local wedding services in their area, from reception venues and photographers to bridal wear and wedding invitations. The free online UK wedding planner includes many great features such as wedding articles offering help and advice on planning and organising a wedding and it also lists the latest UK wedding fairs.
