Being a digital agency in London it’s only right that we share the most Tweeted, Liked, and Pinned media online. So now you don’t have to do a deep search into the archives of the top websites because we’ve compiled the best stories in one space. I know, we’re very kind.

This week we’ve decided to launch our ‘Week in Social’ blog posts with a focus on Twitter. There’s been a lot of news travelling through the feeds this week, including unveiling new products and newborn babies!

London 2012 Olympics, Team GB Kit Revealed

This week Stella McCartney revealed her slick design for the GB team in time for the 2012 Olympics. Compared to previous designs related to the event, the kits received over positive comments praising the use of the Union Jack in the design.

Photoshop CS6 Beta

After 2 years in production, Adobe has finally released the Beta version of Photoshop CS6. This version of the popular software boasts 65 new features, including a major update on the content aware system. The user interface especially is a breath of fresh air for artists and designers.

Angry Birds Space

The new update to the popular and strangely addictive mobile game, Angry Birds, has been a talked about topic since it’s release. There have been conversations about why it’s such a good game, and why previous fans would find it just as fun as the prequel. The latest trending topic on Twitter is the news that it is not available on Windows phones.

Hilary Duff Gives Birth

On a more positive note, Tweeps were sending congratulations to Hilary Duff in a response to the news that she had given birth to a baby boy. Not exactly as popular as Blue Ivy Carter in terms of social feed, but still good news regardless. Read more.

Kim Kardashian Flower Bombed

On a more negative note (or positive depending on how you look at it), Kim Kardashian was ‘flour-bombed’ on Thursday night during a new event to promote her new fragrance line. While Kim was walking down the red carpet, a woman shouted out “Fur hag”, and through white powder at her from behind. Read more.

Twitter Turns 6 Years Old!

Wednesday 21st of March, 2012, marked the day that Twitter turned 6 years old. For fans of the top micro-blogging website, it was like seeing a child grow up after years of commitment. People compared the start of Twitter to the current platform that we use today, reminiscing the problems and the improvements over the previous six years. Read more.
