Week in Social – Adobe CS6 and Worries for The Hobbit

Adobe CS6 Pricing Revealed
Not long after the beta release of Photoshop CS6, Adobe has released the official pricing of the Adobe Creative Suite, ranging from £800 to £1600. On top of this, they have unveiled a payment plan with Adobe Creative Cloud, letting users pay a monthly fee to access all their software if they prefer.
Google reveals Google+ share button
As if a +1 button hovering next to your content wasn’t enough, Google has released a share button to rival the ‘Like’ button from Facebook. Not unlike the Facebook counterpart, the button allows you to share content online on your G+ while choosing which circles in your network it’s available too.
Google AdWords for Video
Continuing with Google… Google has pushed their AdWords for video… with a video! The company is currently the master of search engine rankings and is now beginning to push more opportunities for advertising using Youtube.
The Hobbit receives negative reviews
In other sad news, the long-awaited prequel to the Lord of The Rings trilogy, The Hobbit, has received some negative reviews after an exclusive preview to a selected audience. The decision to release the film in 48 frames per second, as well as 3D hasn’t gone down too well with journalists.
Hostage situation at Tottenham Court Road
Probably the biggest trend on social media this week is the news coverage of a hostage situation in Tottenham Court Road, Central London. There were reports of a man turning up at an office strapped with gas canisters, causing criminal damage. The man has now been caught and is being questioned by the authorities.
