Christmas Countdown 2018
If you are a true Christmas nut, downloading a countdown app is a must.
Not only will these apps tell you how long you have to wait until Christmas Day – they will do so in sleeps, heartbeats and other sickeningly Christmassy measurements of time.
To top it all off, a range of Christmas characters will be on hand to keep you company as you watch the seconds tick down, including Santa, Rudolph and a parade of well-dressed snowmen.
Some of these apps will even present you with a gift to open every day!
And best of all (or worst of all, depending on your current level of Christmas spirit) – once Christmas day is over, they’re going to start counting down all over again to Christmas Day 2019…
Christmas Radio
Here’s one for the Christmas music enthusiasts out there.
This free app will give you access to over 140 radio stations, all chock-full of Mariah Carey, Michael Buble and Bing Crosby.
Once this app is on your phone, it’s going to be impossible to listen to anything else for the rest of December.

Message from Santa
If you currently have a rabble of kids at home, bouncing off the walls with festive excitement, this app could be an absolute lifesaver.
With a brilliant set of gimmicky features – including personalised video messages and phone calls from Santa – and the ability to let your kids leave the man in red “voicemails”, this app is sure to appease your excitable children, even when they’re in their most demanding, Christmassy moods.

Digital E-Cards
If you’ve never sent or received a JibJab Christmas E-Card, where have you been for the last few Christmases?
These ridiculous, cringey and yet somehow infinitely charming and funny animations are a surefire way to spread Christmas cheer among your friends and family.
Just find some embarrassing pictures of you and your best mates, upload them and, hey presto, all of you are now dancing the night away in obnoxiously green elf onesies.

Keep Track of Saint Nick
Here’s a fun one.
Have you ever wondered where Santa and his reindeer are going to be at any given moment on Christmas Eve? Well, wonder no more.
NORAD (the North American Aerospace Defense Command – no joke) have been “tracking” Santa’s movements every Christmas Eve for over 60 years.
In today’s digital age, you can now follow Father Christmas’ movements through NORAD’s website and their iOS / Android apps, and get notified when he’s coming down your chimney!
Google have also begun to track Saint Nick in recent years, introducing their own Santa tracker. It’s difficult to look past NORAD’s sixty-plus years of Santa tracking “experience”, though…
