Trollied Dolly are providers of trendy clothing for those looking to jazz up their wardrobe. Their original retro inspired designs are fabulous and fresh, and can’t be found anywhere on the high street. Their range of products are both vibrant and colourful and are bound to attract attention!

What was required?

Our clients at Trollied Dolly needed a major update to their original website to enhance the current look and feel of their brand.

One key aspect of the business we had to take into consideration was that Trollied Dolly are not only a strong retailer but they are also a manufacturer and wholesaler of their goods. The business needed an E-Commerce website that took this into account and created separate user journeys for both end clients and wholesalers.

Finally the business also needed the website to integrate with a 3rd party fulfilment house so that all orders could be dispatched automatically.

What we did

• The website needed to be practical and scalable, so we chose Magento as the ecommerce platform.
• Created TWO distinct front-end websites for wholesalers and retail clients respectively, all controlled form the one single admin interface.
• The website was integrated with a third party fulfilment houses system so that all online orders through the website could be automatically sent for dispatch.
• The E-Commerce website and the fulfilment systems were integrated to ensure that stock levels were in sync.
• The website offered the flexibility to display different pricing depending on who was shopping (i.e. wholesale pricing or retail pricing).
• The website provided the business with the ability to offer different types of promotions and offers tailored to Retail and wholesale customer groups. Also, wholesalers where upon invitation and admin approval only.
• The website was integrated with Facebook allowing customers to “like” and share certain products.

From the original build, the wholesale part of the website has been further developed to improve the user journey.

This is a growing and creative business and they now have a scalable E-Commerce website that will provide them with the platform for further expansion.
