Think you can design a better volume controller UI? Redditors on r/ProgrammerHumour gave it a go and the results are hilarious. Ideas included turning it into a game or using a laptop’s ambient light sensor to adjust the volume, check out all their ideas on The Verge.
This year's E3
The Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as E3, wraps up this week in Los Angeles and we followed all the announcements, be sure to check out our roundup of the best announcements from the event. The popular image format that sums up how we’re feeling better than words turned 30 on Thursday. Facebook marked the occasion by adding more support for GIF on their service.
Short film shows New York City underwater
Filmmakers Claire & Max have created a short film illustrating the devastating effects climate change and rising sea levels will have on New York City. The video shows various famous areas of the huge city under a couple of feet of water, including Times Square and Grand Central Station. Check out the video below…
