Top 5 Funny Spam Comments

On our web design blog we get the funniest spam messages coming through. Some are literally laugh out loud funny, some are so funny you forget to laugh, others are just plain stupid. Here are my personal favourite.

“Fairly fine publish. My spouse and i just simply came on your current website along with wished expressing we need very really liked studying your own web site content. Anyways I am going to always be following for a blog along with I really hope anyone publish once more quickly.”

This one made me laugh so much I had to call the guys in the office to share in my amusement. Who in the world uses the word “spouse” anymore? We’re coming to the end of 2011 and people someone out there is stuck back in the middle ages. It’s really blatant that this is spam because of how much effort was put in to speak proper English.

“I am impressed to read such a powerful story about James Blake Blog » Blog Archive » Should I meet my web agency face to face?. I will post a link on my coupon site to this blog post. I will be back to read more.”

This could probably look more legitimate than the others if it didn’t include the EXACT location of the blog post. Whoever it was even promised to be back later… oh dear.

“Webmaster, I am the admin at SEOPlugins.org. We profile SEO Plugins for WordPress blogs for on-site and off-site SEO. I’d like to invite you to check out our recent profile for a pretty amazing plugin which can double or triple traffic for a Worpdress blog. You can delete this comment, I didn’t want to comment on your blog, just wanted to drop you a personal message. Thanks, Rich”

This one at first looks like the usual spam, but it looks like it was written by a pretty nice person! “You can delete this comment, I didn’t want to comment on your blog…”. He even signs it off at the end, “Thanks, Rich”. Aww (though that probably isn’t your real name).

“free casino casino online adult toys casino gratuiti buy viagra”

What?!…

“Thank you so much for this great webite! It is very informative.”

It’s great that you like the website (which was spelled wrong), but what about the blog post? This is almost convincing, but there’s really no value to the comment, especially when your username’s “buy cipro”.

There are several different types of spammers that will come to your blog; hardcore sales people, rapport seekers etc. There’s a tonne more but I’ve deleted them, too bad because I would have done a top 10! I’m looking forward to the strange comments that will come with this blog post too.
