Here at JBi we have some very exciting news to announce!
We’ve left behind our ‘cosy’ office in Finchley, North London, finding a new home in a historic building just behind Oxford Circus.
Now situated in and amongst the creative hub of Central London, the move puts us in an ideal location to visit our clients, it enables us to better compete with established agencies, and to attract the best talent on the market. It’s an all round winner in our eyes!
Why?
Our company is growing, our business outlook is changing and we need an office space to reflect that. Queen Anne Street enables us to compete more widely with established W1 agencies, and it’s central location is ideal for many of our clients who are also based around the area; meaning we even look forward to hosting the coffee meetings! In a bid to take on more technology lovers, we feel our new location will attract a wider variety of employees keen to join the JBi family.
Our very own Managing Director David, said: “The business has grown year on year and to maintain our growth we felt the move was a necessary. We feel the new location will help us attract new talented people to the team and further strengthen the product and service that we provide.”
On a personal level, as much as we loved our wall to wall windows, our Finchley office just didn’t match the JBi personality. We wanted an office where we could really “make our own”. An office which could reflect the creativity and originality we put into our design work and marketing strategies; except this time it was plastered on walls!
When?
Now! We’re in but so are the builders! We hope to be fully complete by the end of July to start welcoming visitors!
Who?
The whole team, of course! For some, it’s means ditching the tube for 2 wheels and some lovely “fresh” air every morning and for others, they’ll be swapping their air-conditioned cars for Oyster cards. We are really excited to leave the relative calm for the hubbub and liveliness of Central London – bring it on!
Where?
The exciting part! After 7 years in Finchley, we’ve taken the plunge setting up a new home in 24 Queen Anne’s Street, London, W1G 9AY. The phone number remains the same.
How?
Jump off at Oxford Circus underground and take the 5 minute stroll (or chaotic power walk, depending on how you look at it) in the vague direction of Marylebone & Harley Street. Beware: workers, tourists, red buses and manic shoppers in action!
From organisation to creativity to decisiveness, we’ve utilised everyone’s skills to ensure not only that every JBi member feels a part of the move, but more importantly, to ensure the project runs smoothly to completion. We’ve had a few disagreements, predominantly over flooring and paint colour, but nothing that wasn’t resolved with a little reasoning and rationale… and cake, of course cake.
What we now call our new home was once a hybrid of storage and small office rooms, meaning it needed a lot of building work to get it ship shape. Over the last few months, we’ve been documenting our journey from knocking down walls to choosing fake grass.
