As I was taking a look at our website design brand page today, I noticed a notification above saying, “On 30 March 2012, all Facebook Pages will get a new design. Preview your page now to see what it looks like and try out the new features.” It’s not surprising however that there are already a lot of businesses taking advantage of the timeline.
Companies such as; Coca-cola, Manchester United, and Ben & Jerry’s have updated their pages with the timeline application before every page gets updated at the end of March.
Is this a good thing? Is it alright to be jumping on this so fast? Maybe it’s best to enjoy your original brand page while it’s there. My original thought was, “What about custom tabs?”. Well, there’s nothing to worry about because the tabs are available right underneath the cover image.
